Our family had a wonderful stay at the lodge for a weekend getaway. After a day of hiking and cycling around the beautiful Lake District, we were thrilled to come back to our cozy accommodation. the kids loved the spacious living room for playing board games, and we appreciated the fully-equipped kitchen for preparing meals. the utility area was a lifesaver for storing our wet jackets and shoes. the outside seating area was perfect for enjoying a cup of tea in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. the lodge's proximity to the lake slipway made it easy for us to launch our canoes and explore the stunning surroundings. All in all, a fantastic family-friendly retreat that we can't wait to return to.
